Road Trip Makeup...Don't Leave Home Without It

Happy Friday! Today I’m so excited to share with you my take on beauty…beauty on road trips! Now I wouldn’t consider myself by any stretch of the imagination a cosmetics expert, but I do on occasion like to doll myself up even on the road. I tend to gravitate towards a more natural look because being on the road means spending countless hours in the car…taking naps, visiting different climates, and having late nights. So with that in mind, here is a list of the products I like to carry with me when I’m adventuring:

Aveda Inner Light Mineral Pressed Powder. Super light and beats the shine…that’s exactly what I need to keep my skin looking fresh!
Urban Decay Naked Basics. Slightly smaller than the larger version, thus having fewer color choices to confuse me…this basic palette allows me to just focus on looking natural!
Sephora Full Face Brush Set. I always like to carry a set…to me it keeps things simple!
Urban Decay 24/7 Glide-On Eye Pencil . This is so easy to put on, and it literally lasts forever…even after driving for 12 hours!
Urban Decay Grind House. Got to keep the Urban Decay Eye Pencil sharpened…so this is the way to go!
Stila Stay All Day Waterproof Liquid Eyeliner. This is for those times when I’m feeling adventurous and I want to do a winged look…also stays on all day!
Benefit Benetint Cheek and Lipstain. There’s something so sweet and natural about this rose-tinted stain…I usually put it on first and then add another layer of color with the Clinique lipstick!
Clinique Almost Lipstick. It is not quite a lipgloss not quite a lipstick…it’s the best of both worlds! I especially love it paired with the Benefit Benetint Cheek and Lipstain!
Aquaphor Healing Ointment. Being on the road sometimes feels like being on a plane…my skin and lips get really dry, so this battles that amazingly!
Urban Outfitters Mesh Dopp Bag. Never thought I would love mesh this much especially in the form of a bag…it’s so light and fits everything so well!
