An Historical Presidio All To Ourselves-Sneak Preview
Hey everyone! We can’t believe it has been so long since we’ve last posted on this blog, but we’re so glad to be back now with a sneak preview of our one night stay at the Presidio La Bahia located in the small town of Goliad, Texas! Now what is a presidio you might ask? Well, it is a military fort which in this case was established on this land in 1749 and restored in the 1960’s to look exactly the way it was in 1836 during the Texas Revolution. During the day, it functions as a museum as well as a Catholic church, but at night it is a beautifully quiet place to spend the night all to yourselves. There’s one thing to note though, it is considered one of the most haunted places in Texas, so for those who embrace paranormal activities this is the place to be…we think. Check back on Friday for more photos and more info about our experience at this amazingly unique place!
Have you ever stayed overnight in a historical place? Leave a comment…we would love to hear what you think!
