The Grand Forest On Bainbridge Island

In our continued pursuit of finding beautiful pet-friendly parks on Bainbridge Island, we stumbled upon this amazing place called the Grand Forest! Featuring 240 acres and 8 miles of trails, this city park feels like you are deep in the woods even though you are only a 35 minute ferry ride from Seattle. In fact, you can experience the beauty of peaceful isolation in this dense forest, but you are also only a few minutes away from gorgeous beaches along the ocean like the Fay Bainbridge Park we visited on the same day (you can see that post here)…which means we are definitely convinced that Bainbridge Island is the perfect quick getaway from Seattle especially for people who love the outdoors!
