There's quite a bit that motivates us to go hiking outdoors from the physical challenge to being one with nature to getting to see things we've never seen before which is exactly why the first thing we did when we reached Palo Duro Canyon State Park is hike!

We just came back from an amazing weekend road trip to Palo Duro Canyon State Park located in the Texas Panhandle!

It's pretty safe to say that the Catskill Mountains in New York has become one of our favorite places to take a road trip!

It wasn't hard to fall in love with the Catskill Mountains in New York especially because of their roads...amazingly peaceful scenic routes that led to awe inspiring landscapes!

Majestic mountains...cascading waterfalls...quaint small towns...and an abundance of windy roads leading to beautiful landscapes is exactly what we wanted and so happily experienced when we ventured to the Catskill Mountains during our most recent road trip through the Northeast U.S.!

It's pretty hard to not take a million photos at Eastern State Penitentiary which is why we have for you Part 2 of our visit to this amazing place!

It's really hard to explain how Eastern State Penitentiary in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania made us feel when we walked through it...all massive and decayed!

So we decided that we'll just start posting content from the middle of our trip which leads us to our visit to the coolest historical prison we've ever seen!

When we are traveling, our camera is everything to us in terms of documenting all the adventures that wow and amaze us when we're on the road! Essentially, we expect our camera to be there like a cherished companion for every important moment...but sometimes it can't which is what we learned when our camera decided to give us a dreaded error message on our most recent trip!

In the past few weeks, we have been working on creating a rough travel plan for this year which has inevitably made us revisit the question...why do we travel?

We've been taking a lot of road trips out of state recently, so we thought it might be fun to hit the road in the city we actually live in!
