Whenever we are craving some quality time in the desert, we always think of Las Vegas which is why in September we decided to take a trip there and stay at the gorgeous Red Rock Casino Resort & Spa!

Extremely challenging is the best way to describe this climb we did to reach the top of Mount St. Helens, an active volcano in Washington! Now for those who have never heard of this volcano, it is well known for its disastrous eruption that occurred in 1980.

Hey everyone! So after visiting Redwood State Park on our first day of our visit to California in June...we decided it was imperative that on our second day, we visit the National Park side which led us to this amazing trail called the Tall Trees Grove Loop!

We wanted to start this blog post by immediately saying if you haven't been to Redwood National and State Parks, you definitely should go! We visited last month, and it was by far one of the most spectacular places we've ever been!

Visiting the Butchart Gardens was a top priority for us when we took a trip to Victoria, B.C.!

We have been wanting to visit Victoria, B.C. in Canada for a very long time...and we finally made it!

We never expected to be so impressed by a ferry ride, but we definitely were when we recently took the British Columbia Ferry in Canada!

One of the things we love about living in Seattle is being able to take day trips to some of the most beautiful national parks in the country which is why one weekend we decided to hop in the car and drive two and a half hours to Mount Rainier National Park!
